Gamecocks (+) over Volunteers- I can't tell you how many times this season I have had the Gamecocks with points and a double-digit second half lead only to loss by 10 or more points. Last time out South Carolina had an 11-point lead with under seven minutes to-go and lost by 10 to Arkansas. Tennessee meanwhile shot the eyes out of the hoop and ran away from LSU last time out and will come back to earth this afternoon. Neither of these clubs will go to the NCAA Tournament unless they win the SEC tournament and that is highly unlikely for both of these squads. Hard to believe this stat but the Vols have won the last 15 straight in this series and now hold a 41-23 advantage. Tennessee is 0-10-1 ATS at home against a team with a losing record and are 2-13-2 ATS overall in their last 26 home games. Take SOUTH CAROLINA!
