Pirates over Tigers- It is difficult to understand why the Pirates are favorites here as the Tigers have had their way in their three series so far. A one-run loss to Pittsburgh is the only blemish on Detroit's fast start. The Tigers are sending Alfredo Simon (1-0, 5.06 ERA) is getting the start for the visitors and he is 3-4 with an ERA of 3.50 ERA lifetime against the Pirates. Francisco Liriano (0-0, 2.57) was outstanding in his first start striking out seven giving up two walks and only two hits in seven innings no-decision. Take PITTSBURGH!
