Nationals over Cardinals- It has taken a couple of weeks but the Washington Nationals starting rotation is beginning to show what has been expected of them. Tonight they will send Doug Fister (1-0, 0.69 ERA) to the hill against the John Lackey (1-0, 2.77) who pitched seven scoreless innings against Milwaukee his last time out. Fister has had two starts and has allowed just one earned run in 13 innings with both starts against Philadelphia, he is now 17-6 as a National and is 9-3 with an ERA of 1.97 in 14 starts at Nationals Park.
