This is an 8* SITUATIONAL SLAP-SHOT on the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Playoffs are all about making adjustments. That applies for the teams on the field of play, but also for handicappers.
If you make an incorrect read (especially in Game 1 of a series), good handicappers can "make the call" and admit that and quickly make adjustments moving forward.
As mentioned above, Playoff teams which fall behind in a series also have to make adjustments if they have any hopes in turning things around.
While we did have a play on the Oilers to open this series, we now believe the value has swung the other way here and the Hawks are the correct call.
These goaltenders are a "wash" and the extra time off has definitely helped out Chicago to heal up here. With vastly more experience overall in the playoffs, the Hawks are the correct call in Game 2 as well in my opinion.
