This is a 10* TOP PLAY OF THE NIGHT on the Chicago White Sox.
The Tigers are 8-5 and the White Sox are 8-8. Chicago was a "sexy" pick for many before the season started, but underwhelming pitching and struggling production at the plate has the team hovering at .500.
The ChiSox are off a poor series at home as well, but heres' the perfect opponent to get untracked against.
And that's mostly because the Sox' best pitcher is on the mound tonight. Dallas Keuchel (2-1, 2.55 ERA) who enters off a gem, but a hard-luck loss by allowing one run and striking out eight over seven innings in what turned out to be a 1-0 setback vs. the Brewers on Wednesday.
Tigers' starter Michael Fulmer (0-0, 13.50) is still recovering from TJS and in his only start this year he allowed four runs off five hits over two innings to the soft hitting Royals back on July 27th.
I like the more motivated team with the much better in form starting pitcher to deliver in this one (and the price is very reasonable considering the circumstances.)
