This Montreal team has been unreal. It was down 3-1 to Toronto, but somehow it managed to fight back and win three straight to win in seven games over the heavily favored Leafs.
Then, with only two days rest, the Canadiens hit the road and then dominated the Jets in Game 1, winning 5-3.
Being successful in the playoffs, is much like handicapping the playoffs, as making adjustments from game-to-game is the key.
The Canadiens are for sure going to have a letdown at some point, and that point is right now. The Habs have earned the split and now will be focussing on returning home.
The Jets will be laying everything on the line here today, risking life and limb getting into shooting and passing lanes.
