After back-to-back losses to open up this series, scoring a total of just one run over those first two setbacks, we like the Phillies and the Mets to plate a few more here in the finale of this three game series. Note that Philly has seen the total go OVER the number in four of its last five in trying to avenge two or more straight road loss against an opponent. Taijuan Walker has been the beneficiary of some offense this year, as evidenced by his 4-2, 5.57 ERA record this season. He'll be opposed by the Mets' Max Scherzer, who is 4-2 with a 3.54 ERA. This is just a case of both starters being in the "wrong place" at the "wrong time" today, as the overall situation combined with the above listed ATS O/U stat make the OVER the correct call as far as the total is concerned in this one in our opinion.
