The Detroit Tigers and the Kansas City Royals will play game three of a three-game set. Detroit has taken the first two games and will go for the sweep by sending out Tarik Skubal to face the Royals. So far this season, he has posted a 4.35 ERA with 74 strikeouts and 29 walks in 60.0 innings.

The Royals are in need of a win for many reasons and will not want to get swept by the Tigers. They will look to avoid the sweep by handing the ball over to Brady Singer. He has posted a 4.85 ERA with 69 strikeouts and 24 walks in 65.0 innings.

The Tigers have shown they can sweep series as they have taken three from the Yankees earlier in the season. Singer has pitched well as of late, allowing five earned over his last two starts. Skubal has been better, allowing three earned runs just once in his last five starts. I like the Tigers and Skubal at plus money.
