Week one of the NFL comes to a close with the Baltimore Ravens taking on the Las Vegas Raiders in Las Vegas. The Baltimore Ravens have made the playoffs for three straight years and nay be pressed for a fourth straight as injuries are piling up already. The Baltimore Ravens have won nine games or more in four straight seasons. Lamar Jackson is one of the best young quarterbacks in the league and the returns at quarterback and they added an outside threat in Sammy Watkins. J.K. Dobbins wasn't the only running back to go down with an injury but was the biggest blow to the running game. The Ravens have a physical offensive line so any halfway decent back should do all right. On the defensive side, the Ravens are solid on the line at linebacker, and in the secondary, They did suffer a loss to cornerback Marcus Peters but the rest are solid.

The Las Vegas Raiders finished 8-8 last year and the team hasn't made the playoffs since 2016 and hasn't won a playoff game since 2002, the year they won the Suoer Bowl. The Raiders offense has some weapons on offense with Henry Ruggs III, Josh Jacobs (who is questionable), Hunter Renfrow, and Darren Waller. The offensive line holds up quarterback Derek Carr should have a very productive season. The Raiders will need to see their defense step up this season and help out the offense. The raiders did make some changes on that side of the ball with new defensive coordinator Gus Bradley. They also added pass rusher Yannick Ngakoue, cornerback Casey Hayward Jr., defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson and drafted safety Tre’von Moehrig.

The Ravens are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Raiders are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 Monday games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The home team is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 meetings. The Ravens have already lost J.K Dobbins and Gus Edwards in the backfield before the season even started. Latavius Murray, Leveon Bell or Ty’Son Williams could have nice seasons behind this offensive line. The Raiders have improved teir defense on paper at least, have weapons to score on offense and Vegas will be rocking to open the season. Home dogs on Monday Night Football to start the season are money, take the points in this one.

Play on Las Vegas.
