I think Justin Verlander comes out strong here tonight.
On Thursday night, the Phillies go with Noah Syndergaard and he has pitched very little this postseason. He may not be as sharp as the Phillies need him to be, so the bullpen will be called upon early. The Astros, meanwhile, have spread their hits around the lineup and still haven't had a signature night from slugger Yordan Alvarez. It is coming and game five seems like as good a time as any in a bullpen game.
Expect the Astros jump all over first pitches in Game 5 and they also have the more dominant bullpen. Houston should head back home on Friday with a 3-2 series lead.
