There is a ton of great offensive talent on both sides and while Mike Clevinger is a solid pitcher, the Dodgers have crushed him in three games this season. He’s allowed 14 runs in 13 innings against LA. Julio Urias is a tough lefty but the Padres have some very good right-handed hitters led by Manny Machado (.298, 32, 102), Josh Bell (2.66, 17, 71) and Brandon Drury (.263, 28, 87). The additions of Bell, Drury and Juan Soto should really allow the Padres to compete with the Dodgers in the postseason.
