SUPER TOP TOTAL (RED HOT 6-1 ALL L3 DAYS!)
(MLB) St. Louis vs. San Diego,
Total: 7.50 | -101.00 Over
Result: Loss
Total: 7.50 | -101.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is an 8* SUPER TOTAL on the OVER Cardinals/Padres.
Both teams have been playing to several lower-scoring affairs of late, but I expect those trends to end this evening.
The Cardinals have seen the total go UNDER in six of their last seven, including four straight. That includes yesterday's 5-0 loss here. Note that the Cards though have seen the total go OVER the number in eight of their last 11 in trying to avenge a shutout road loss against an opponent, and in six of their last eight after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row.
San Diego has won four straight, but it's also seen the total go UNDER the number in five of its last six, including three in a row.
We have two decent starting pitchers going head-to-head here. The Cards go with Miles Mikolas, who is 11-12 with a 3.46 ERA, while the home side counters with Blake Snell, who is 7-9 with a 3.85 ERA.
It's difficult to say anything negative about these guys, as they've been solid. Not spectacular, but decent.
This is just a case of each being in the wrong place, at the wrong time.
I'm expecting this total to fly OVER the number sooner, rather than later.
Good luck, NP
