Calgary is 2-0 after last night's relatively simple 6-3 home win over Philadelphia. Prevoius to that they won their opener 6-5 in OT in Vancouver.
If this was mid-season, or even a month from now, I'd say that fatigue would be an issue in the second game of the back-to-back scenario, but because we're still just in the first week of th eseason, I say this isn't an issue right now at all. In fact, I say it's a benefit.
Edmonton got out to a disastrous start last year, and then turned it on and went to the SC Final. The Oilers have looked terrible early on again this season, losing here 6-0 to the Jets to kick things off, before last night's lacklustre 5-2 home loss to the Hawks as -350 favs!
Look for Calgary to have a legit shot at winning this one outright, but overall the value lies with grabbing the visitors on the puckline option in our opinion.
