(NFL) Tampa Bay vs. New Orleans,
Point Spread: 3.50 | -106.00 Tampa Bay (Away)
Result: Loss
The Buccaneers are coming were 7-9 last season and finished third in the NFC South. Tampa lost seven of their first ten which pretty much signaled the end of the Jamies Winston era. The Buccaneers spent the offseason loading up on offensive talent, signing Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, LeSean McCoy, and Leonard Fournette. Along with the talent already on the offense, the Buccaneers shouldn't have any problems putting up points.

The New Orleans Saints ended the regular season with a 13-3 record and finished first in the NFC South. They were knocked out of the playoffs in overtime by the Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card round. Drew Brees is back to lead the Saints. They did lose backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater who won five in a row as a replacement for an injured Brees last season. The Saints brought in former Buccaneer Jameis Winston to back up Brees.

The Buccaneers are 3-1-2 ATS in their last six games overall and 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight games on turf. The Saints are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last five games as a home favorite. The Saints are 0-6 ATS in their last six games in Week 1.

It may take a couple of weeks until Tampa gets their offense firing on all cylinders but when they do they will be a nightmare for a defensive coordinator. Until then they will be dangerous as they should be able to run or pass the ball depending on the defense. I look for this game to come down to the final possession so taking the points is the way to go.

Play on Tampa Bay.
