NBA BUBBLE BUSTER "POP" goes the BOOKS
(NBA) Denver vs. LA Lakers,
Point Spread: 7.00 | -105.00 Denver (Away)
Result: Loss
The Denver Nuggets are an unlikely entrant into the Western Conference Finals. They will have plenty of confidence after not only coming back from a 3-1 deficit to both the Utah Jazz and the LA Clippers. Nikola Jokic was huge for the Nuggets as he put up 24.4 points, 13.4 rebounds, 6.6 assists a game. Jamal Murray added 22.6 points and 6.4 assists a game, Michael Porter Jr. chipped in 10.1 points and 6.9 rebounds a game.

The Los Angeles Lakers took care of the Houston Rockets in five games and will come into this game well-rested. LeBron James led the Lakers with 25.8 points, 10.4 rebounds, 7.4 assists, and 2.0 steals. Anthony Davis added 25.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 4.0 assists. Rajon Rondo chipped in 10.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 7.0 assists a game.

Head to head, the over is 20-7-2 in the last 29 meetings overall, the Nuggets are 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings in Los Angeles and the Nuggets are 19-9 ATS in the last 28 meetings overall.

The Nuggets should be riding high with confidence and momentum after what they have done in the last two rounds. Jokic and Murray have developed into a powerful 1-2 punch for the Nuggets. The Nuggets have other players to step and add to the two stars. The Lakers will be well rested but that may not be a good thing as they had a couple of players step up and were shooting the ball well. They will need them to continue that if they hope to advance. I think the Lakers win this one but not cover the spread.

Play on Denver.
