(NCAAF) Mississippi State vs. LSU,
Point Spread: 16.50 | -108.00 Mississippi State (Away)
Result: Win
The Mississippi State Bulldogs won six games last season but it wasn't enough for the Head Coach, Joe Moorhead to keep his job. Enter new coach Mike Leach and his throw the ball everywhere and hope their defense makes a stop or two. Former Stanford quarterback K.J. Costello will take over running the offense for Mississippi State. Last season, Costello threw for 1,038 yards, six touchdowns, and three interceptions. The Bulldogs also return 1300 yards and 10 touchdown rusher Kylin Hill to the backfield.

The LSU Tigers will try and defend their title with a team that will have a different look. Quarterback Joe Burrow is now in the NFL they will turn to Myles Brennan to lead the offense. The Tigers have lost a ton of starters on both sides of the ball and to add to that, their top receiver and maybe the best receiver in the country, Ja’Marr Chase opted out. Terrace Marshall Jr did return to catch passes from Brennan, last season he had 13 touchdowns. The defense lost a lot of talent but at LSU they don't rebuild they reload.

LSU has more talent but it may take some time for them to get playing as cohesive units on both sides of the ball. Mississippi's offense should be able to put up enough points to keep this within the number.

Play on Mississippi State.
