The Dodgers took an early 3-0 lead after two innings and had to hold on for a 4-2 win. The Brewers out-hit the Dodgers 7-6 in the loss Wednesday, but could only score two runs. Starting pitcher Brent Suter went just 1.2 innings with three hits, three earned, and five walks.
The Brewers will look to keep their season alive by sending Brandon Woodruff to the mound. He has made 13 starts this season, posting a 3-5 record with a 3.05 ERA. In the postseason for his career, he is 1-1 with a 2.20 ERA.

The Dodgers got things Over on the Dodgers’ side, Wednesday starting going early and Walker Buehler did not have a great outing. He went just four innings, giving up two runs on three hits, striking out eight and walking two. The Dodgers will look to close out the series with Clayton Kershaw taking the mound. He has made ten starts this season, posting a 6-2 record with a 2.16 ERA. Kershaw has not been as dominant in the postseason, going 9-11 with a 4.43 ERA.

Woodruff has pitched well this season and Kershaw has struggled in the postseason. I am not going to outthink myself. As I said yesterday in playing the Dodgers, they have the advantage everywhere you look and they will get the job done again today. I am playing them on the run-line for added value.
