Mississippi State Bulldogs takes on the Kentucky Wildcats in an SEC battle. Mississippi State opened the season with a big win over defending Cham LSU. They then turned around and dropped a surprising 21-14 loss to Arkansas last week. Mississippi State's air raid offense has thrown for an average of 468 passing yards a game, with K.J Costello having thrown for 936 yards, 6 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. The rushing attack is pretty much nonexistent with Jo’quavious Marks leading the attack with just 52 rushing yards. Osirus Mitchell has caught 12 passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns while Kylin Hill has 158 receiving yards and JAVonta Payton has 145 receiving yards.

Kentucky put up two good efforts against Auburn and Mississippi. The passing offense is led by Terry Wilson who has thrown for 390 yards, with a touchdown and an interception. As a team, they rush for 275 yards a game with quarterback Wilson also leading the attack with 171 yards and 3 touchdowns. Asim Rose has added 148 rushing yards and Christopher Rodriguez Jr. has run for 146 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Wideout Josh Ali has 16 catches for 166 yards.

Kentucky will look to establish the running game early and keep the Air-Raid offense off the field. Thay may be easier said than done with the Mississippi State defense only giving up 1.91 yards per rush. They will not be able to keep Kentucky that low bt long drives that result in field goals would suit the Rebels just fine. I like the Air-Raid offense to get enough touchdown to get the win in this one.

Play on Mississippi State.
