The Michigan Wolverines will try to turn things around against the No. 13-ranked Indiana Hoosiers. They are coming off a very disappointing loss to the Michigan State Spartans. Another season of high hopes for the Wolverines under Harbaugh was smashed in their loss to the 25 point underdog Spartans. If you want to find a silver lining heading into this game? it could be that Michigan has won the last 24 games against Indiana. Michigan is 1-1 on the season having beaten Minnesota in their opener but fell to Michigan State last Saturday. In Michigan’s 49-24 blowout win over Minnesota. Michigan quarterback Joe Milton passed for 225 yards and a touchdown. Hassan Hawkins had 82 yards and two touchdowns in six carries. In their 27-24 loss to the Spartans, Milton threw for 300 yards. He also rushed for 59 yards.

Indiana has started the season at 2-0. They beat Penn State in overtime and took care of Rutgers last week. They were able to pull out an improbable 36-25 win in overtime over Penn State in the season opener. Quarterback Michael Penix threw for 170 yards with one touchdown and an interception. Stevie Scott rushed for 57 yards and two scores. Indiana took care of Rutgers 37-21 behind Penix who through for 238 yards and three touchdowns. Scott rushed 81 yards in the contest.

Harbaugh may not win the big games but he always beats the teams he is supposed to. Michigan has beaten Indiana 24 straight times and with them being embarrassed by the Spartans they will be looking to take out their frustration on someone. Michigans defense will put pressure on Penix and force some mistakes.
