Purdue is 3-1 this season. The Boilermakers are coming off a 68-61 win over Valparaiso on Friday. The offense is led by Sasha Stefanovic with 14 points a game. Freshman center Zach Edey has put up 13.8 points and 5.3 rebounds a game taking over for Matt Haarms. Freshman Jaden Ivey had a great start to his Purdue career with 12 points in the season-opener against Liberty. He is questionable for this game with a foot injury suffered in the Liberty game. Brandon Newman, Trevion Williams, and Isaiah Thompson are all averaging double figures as well.

Miami has had an easy start to the season, getting easy wins over North Florida and Stetson. They are a very balanced squad and play well on both ends. The Hurricanes don't have a lot of height on this team and will be challenged by Purdue's height. The offense is led by Chris Lykes with 15.5 points and he dishes out 5.5 assists. He sprained his ankle against Stetson and is questionable for this game. Isaiah Wong leads the team with 18.5 points and 9.5 rebounds a game. Transfer Kameron McGusty adds 10.5 points a game.

The Boilermakers are off to a nice start and their freshmen are playing better than most experts expected. Miami has not played anybody on the level of Purdue and the Boilermaker's height will cause Miami problems. If Lykes isn't 100%, then advantage Purdue. The Boilermakers’ offense is better overall than the Hurricanes. Take Purdue.

Play on Purdue.
