On the defensive end, they are giving up 61.8 points and their opponents are shooting 38.6 percent from the field and 31.8 percent from deep.


Both teams average more than 70 points per game this season. These teams do play at a slow pace, but Virginia Tech has scored 80 points or more in their last three games, and Louisville has scored at least 71 points in five of their seven games played this season with Carlik Jones in the lineup. I think this number is a little low.
