Result: Loss
Calgary is coming off a 4-2 loss to Montreal which extended their losing streak to three games. Inconsistent play has plagued the Flames during their three-game slide. Jacob Markstrom is scheduled to be back in goal for the Flames on Saturday night. He is 2-2-1 overall this season with a 2.62 GAA and .911 save percentage in five starts. He lost his only start versus the Canadiens last season stopping 27 of 30 shots.

Montreal won the first game of this two-game set 4-2. Carey Price stopped 22 of 24 shots on the night and was two minutes away from completing a shutout before allowing two quick goals. Price is expected to get the start between the pipes once again. He is 3-0-2 so far this season with a 2.92 GAA and .898 save percentage. He allowed two goals or fewer goals in three of his last four starts. Last season against the Flames, he was 2-0 with a 1.47 GAA and .952 save percentage.

These teams are heading in opposite directions. Montreal has won three in a row while the Flames have lost three in a row. The Flames have struggled in 5-on-5 situations and 12 of their 19 goals for the season have come with the man advantage. I am playing on Montreal in this one.

Play on Montreal.
