Result: Loss
Somehow the NFL got through the minefield of COVID and finished the season pretty much unscathed. It now comes down to one game with the defending Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV. The Chiefs won 27-24 in Tampa Bay this season.

Kansas City is trying to become the first team since New England back in the 2003 and 2004 seasons to win back-to-back titles. The Chiefs finished the regular season with a 14-2 record and earned home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Kansas City rushing attack put up 112.4 yards a game in the regular season and has improved that 10 118.5 in the playoffs. They were led by Clyde Edwards-Helaire with 181 carries for 803 yards and four scores in the regular season. Patrick Mahomes ran 62 times for 308 yards and two scores. In season addition Le’Veon Bell toted the ball 63 times for 254 yards, two TD and Darrel Williams had 39 carries for 169 yards and a TD. During the playoffs, Williams has got the bulk of the carries as Bell and Edwards-Helaire have been battling injuries. Patrick. Mahomes threw for 4,740 yards with 38 touchdowns and six interceptions. Travis Kelce had 105 catches for 1,416 yards and 11 touchdowns. Tyreek Hill added 87 catches for 1276 yards and 15 touchdowns. Mecole Hardman had 41 catches for 560 yards and four touchdowns.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers finished 11-5 in the regular season to finish second in the NFC South. Tampa Bay had run for at least 100 yards seven times this season they also set an NFL record by running the ball just five times for eight yards in the loss to New Orleans. The rushing attack was led by Ronald Jones II with 192 carries for 978 yards and seven touchdowns. Leonard Fournette added 97 carries for 367 yards and six touchdowns. In the playoffs, Fournette has become the main back with 48 carries for 211 yards and two scores while Jones II had just 23 carries for 78 yards in the playoffs. Tom Brady threw for 4,633 yards with 40 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He has a ton of weapons with Mike Evans leading the way with 70 catches for 1,006 yards and 13 touchdowns. Rob Gronkowski had 45 catches for 623 yards and seven touchdowns. Scottie Miller caught 33 passes for 501 yards, three touchdowns.

This game has a three-point line for a reason. You could make an argument either way. I am going with the Chiefs in this one. they showed in the first game that they can get big plays against the Bucs defense. I think the Chiefs defense will be able to get some pressure up the middle and force him into a mistake or two. Mahomes will make a big play or two with his legs behind a banged-up offensive line.
