The UC Santa Barbara Gauchos have won nine of their last 10 games. As a team, the Gauchos are putting up 75.8 points and are shooting 48.6 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from deep. On the defensive end, they are giving up 62.1 points and their opponents are shooting 41.6 percent from the field and 33.1 percent from deep. The offense is led by JaQuori McLaughlin with 15.6 points and 3.4 rebounds a game. Amadou Sow adds 13 points and 7.5 rebounds.

The Creighton Bluejays have won seven of their last 10 games. As a team, the Bluejays are putting up 78.4 points a game and they are shooting 48.2 percent from the field and 36.8 percent from deep. On the defensive end, they are giving up 69.1 points and their opponents are shooting 40.9 percent from the field and 32.3 percent from deep. The offense is led by Marcus Zegarowski with 15.4 points and 3.7 rebounds a game. Denzel Mahoney adds 13.5 points and 4.2 rebounds.

The Gauchos have a balanced offensive attack and are terrific offensively. Creighton has played well for most of the season and has the offensive firepower to blow any team out if they're not ready to match their energy. Creighton is the deeper and more proven team up to this point but they have not played as well since the coach's unfortunate comments a few games ago. I like the Gauchos to keep this one close.
