This is all about the pitching matchup. Paxton is coming off a really disappointing season and had to have his first start of the year pushed back for reasons not yet explained. The Sox have a high-powered offense that could have a field day against Paxton and the Seattle pen. The Sox will send Lucas Giolito to the mound. Giolito is one of the best pitchers in the MLB and he looked fairly sharp on Opening Day. He is facing a lineup that shouldn't scare him too much. I like the Sox pitching and offense to get the job done against an inferior team.
