The Chicago Cubs and the Cincinnati Reds meet up for the second game of a three-game set. The Cubs dropped game 1 8-6as Arrieta gave up 7 runs in just over 3 innings and the Cubs bats could not get them all the way back. The Cubs will try to turn things around by sending Zach Davies to the mound. He has had control problems as of late after pitching ok to start the season. He has posted a 9.47 ERA in 19 innings he has struck out 14 but has walked an amazing 15 batters in those 19 innings. . The Reds will answer with Luis Castillo getting the start. He has pitched in 24.1 innings this season and has posted a 6,29 ERA with 19 strikeouts and 7 walks. Davies has a 12.15 ERA over his last four starts lasting just 14 ⅔ innings. Castillo seems to have lost a little and is not putting batters away as he has in the past. I look for Davies to start to get back to where he was earlier in the year, it is harder to gain velocity. I am taking the Cubs at plus money in this one.
