Peterson has been getting lit up recently and has put the Mets behind early in games. In his last two starts, he has lasted just three innings combined, giving up 9 runs on eleven hits. In his last four starts, his ERA comes in at 9.88. Arrieta gave up just one run on the road to the Padres in his last outing. New York has lost the last five games that Peterson has made the start in.
