The Pittsburgh Pirates are coming off a hard-fought 4-2 loss to the Chicago White Sox yesterday. The Pirates managed just five hits against Cubs pitchers. Bryse Wilson didn't look bad in the start, allowing four runs on six hits in five innings. Mitch Keller makes the start for Pittsburgh today. He has posted a 4-10 record 6.75 ERA and 68 strikeouts this season. The White Sox got timely hitting and good pitching in the win. Yasmani Grandal continued his hot start since his return from the IL with a solo home run. Lucas Giolito allowed two runs on three hits while striking out five in 4.1 innings before leaving with an injury. The Sox will counter by sending Carlos Rodon to the mound. He is 10-5 with a 2.43 ERA and 163 strikeouts this season.

Rodon has been one of the most dominant starters in baseball. Pittsburgh offense is not much of a threat as they do not create runs or hit for power.
Keller peripherals make him an enigma, He has a career FIP that is nearly two full runs lower than his ERA. Rodon will dominate the Pirates lineup and even though I don't expect Keller to dominate the Sox, but to keep this one under the number.
