Result: Win
The Indiana Hoosiers take on the Michigan State Spartans meet in Big Ten action.

The Spartans are coming off a 31-13 win over Rutgers in their last game. The Spartans offense is led by Payton Thorne’s thrown with 1,576 passing yards, to go with 14 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. The rushing attack is led by Kenneth Walker III with 912 yards and 9 TDs. The receiving corps is led by Jayden Reed and Jalen Nailo. Reed and Nailor both have 23 catches for over 490 yards and touchdowns between them.

The Indiana Hoosiers are coming off a 24-0 loss to Penn State. When healthy, the offense is led by Michael Penix Jr. with 939 passing yards, to go with 4 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. Jack Tuttle has added 168 passing yards filling in for Penix. The rushing attack is led by Stephen Carr with 386 yards and 3 touchdowns. Peyton Hendershot and Ty Fryfogle each have over 270 receiving yards.

Michigan State is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games and 6-15-1 ATS in their last 22 conference games. Indiana is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 conference games and 12-4 ATS in their last 16 games against a team with a winning record.

Michigan State is playing well on both sides of the ball, they have an explosive offense and a solid defense that bends but doesn't break. Indiana may be without their leader as Penix Jr. separated a shoulder last week and will be a game-time decision. The Spartans offense is fourth in the nation averaging 7.4 yards a play, while Indiana is 116th. Michigan has big-play capability at both running back and wide-out positions. This could be a look ahead game for MSU as Michigan is on deck but I think they have too much on both sides of the ball with Penix being less than 100%.

Play on Michigan State.
