The Chicago Cubs have gotten off to a strong start to the season and improved to 3-1 on the season after a 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates yesterday. The Pirates dropped to 1-3and will look to get a win in the last game of a two-game set. Kyle Hendricks will get the nod for the Cubs. He went 5.1 innings with just one run, with five hits and he walked three batters in his season opener. . Hendricks has pitched well against the Pirates in his career. The Pirates will counter with Zach Thompson on the mound. It will be his first start of the season. He was 3-7 with a 3.24 ERA last season. The Cubs have been surprising at the plate and are better on the mound in this one. Pittsburgh is in for a long season and I think this price is a little short on the Cubs in this one.
