The Tampa Bay Rays take on the disappointing and often injured San Diego Padres. The Rays are coming off a series against the A's in which they dropped two of three. The Rays will send Shane McClanahan to the mound. He has posted a 2.18 ERA in 14 starts. Tampa is 12-2 when he starts and they have been easy wins as 10 of those games were by more than 1 run. Yu Darvish will go for the Padres. He has posted a 4.30 ERA this season, but at home, that falls to 2.68. The Rays have the best record in baseball and will have one of the better pitchers on the mound. San Diego's offense has been inconsistent this season and struggles to string hits together. That won't get any easier against Mclanahan and I see the Rays scoring a few off of Darvish.
