I thought before the series started it would go seven games. After games two and three I figured there was no way we would see a game seven but here we are. Edmonton has won three straight to even the series at three. They are the first team to force a Game 7 after trailing 3-0 in the series since 1945. The Oilers' defense has allowed three goals or fewer in 11 of their last 14 games. The Oilers offense has found their groove scoring 18 of their 22 goals of the series in the last 3 games. The Panthers had the Cup in their grasp but are now on the brink of one of the biggest choke jobs in sports history. Goalie Sergei Bobrovsky has lost his mojo in the last three games after being a wall for the first three. The Panthers' defense has allowed five goals or more in three straight. The Panthers offense has scored just five goals over the last three games. The Panthers have home-ice advantage but the Oilers have all the momentum. The first goal will be critical and right now I have more faith in the Oilers offense at this point. McDavid was held pointless in game six but the Oilers still scored 5 times. The Oilers, have only allowed 16 goals in this series and have scored 18 in the last three games. Stewart has stepped up in the last three games after a shaky start to the series. I can’t believe I am saying this but Stewart is playing better in the net right now. The play of Stewart and the way the Oilers offense has been playing, I like them to make history with a win tonight.
