Money Line: -142.00 Cubs (CHC) (Away)
Result: Loss
The Colorado Rockies played spoiler yesterday, knocking off the Tigers, and they look to play that role again against the Chicago Cubs. The Rockies are dead last in the National League and are 4-6 in their last ten games. The Cubs are five games out of a playoff spot and are 5-5 in their last ten. Javier Assad will take the mound for the Cubs. He is 7-5 with a 3.14 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP in 26 starts. He started out the season strong, struggled in the middle but has been pitching better as of late. Austin Gomber gets the start for the Rockies. He is 5-10 with a 4.50 ERA and a 1.26 WHIP. Gomber unfortunately has been too inconsistent this season. Chicago has won the last six in a row against the Rockies. Chicago is trying to make a run at a playoff spot and these are games they can’t afford to lose.

Play on Chicago. This is a 4% play.
