Jared Goff threw for 217 yards with a touchdown and an interception. David Montgomery had 91 yards rushing with the winning touchdown in overtime. Jameson Williams had a career day with five catches for 121 yards and a touchdown. The Lions looked to improve their defense in the offseason, they finished last season ranked 27th in passing defense and 23rd in scoring defense at 23.2 points per game. Despite Detroit being the better team, I think Tampa Bay can keep this one inside the number. Detroit has a balanced offense while Tampa Bay has struggled rushing the ball. Detroit wins this game but the Bucs cover.
