I actually think the Red wings can upset the Leafs in this matchup of two bad defenses, but I dont expect it to happen. I expect both teams to score 2+ goals tonight because they both allow an average of 2+ goals to opponents in the last 7 games (3+ goals allowed in those games for Leafs). But the defense should look better for the Leafs vs the 21 ranked offense of Detroit, and the Leafs are sure to bounce back from the 5-1 loss to the Kraken Thursday with the extra day of rest, whil Detroit travels to Toronto after losing last night to the Florida panthers at home.
