The win over the Timberwolves in the first game gives me even more confidence in the Nuggets tonight. When you look at the box score, the bench didn't do anything for them, and I don't see Braun or Jeff Green amounting to nothing again after playing 19+ minutes. The real concern about the Timberwolves chance's to cover this spread, is the amount of time the starters are going to have to play in order to keep this game close. Only Karl Anthony Towns played 30+ minutes last game and even if he posts a better stat line tonight, there is still a glaring difference in defense between these two teams which doesn't bode well for Minnesota. Gobert simply isn't an offensive threat, so if the Nuggets hold KAT or Anthony Edwards to a minimum, they have 0 support on the bench to give the stars enough of a break to keep this game in fighting distance. Maybe they'll have better chances at home, but Nuggets roll again tonight before hitting the road.
