NBA - Heat @ Nuggets
(NBA) Miami vs. Denver,
Point Spread: 8.50 | -106.00 Miami (Away)
Result: Win
Point Spread: 8.50 | -106.00 Miami (Away)
Result: Win
- Miami Heat are 5-2 ATS after a lose in their playoff run this season.
- Miami closed the 20+ point gap in the last quarter of the game without Jimmy Butler on the floor
- Nuggets turned off the gas in the late stages of the game, as the defensive zone for the Heat started taking effect on Jokic creating opportunities in the paint.
- Heat did well preventing the role players from scoring efficiently from the Field (and the Nuggets specialize in jumpshots this entire NBA season)
- The biggest issue for Miami was thier role players missing shots and relying too heavily on Bam Adebayo to handle the ball in half court situations. Jimmy Butler will be more in control of the ball this game which gives the Heat much more of a duality and better chances by moving the ball on the outside of the arc instead of working the ball inside and passing it outside/ shooting the mid-range which limited efficient 3pt shooting in Game 1. They need to create from outside the middle painted area to better setup Strus, Vincent, and Duncan Robinson.
- I like the way Kyle Lowry played in this matchup, and he can ease the burden that Jamal Murray has put on the heat in Game 1, shooting almost flawlessly from the field early into the game, so look for Murray to be more contained.
- This line opened up at 9.5 and has lowered to even 8 on some books. Leaning in the direction of the Heat
Official Play: Miami Heat +8.5
Side Bet: Aaron Gordon over 21.5 Points-Rebounds-Assists
Side Bet: Michael Porter over 2.5 three pointers made
Side Bet: Bam over 3.5 Assists
