I don't like Iowa State to beat Iowa by 8 points here even though they are at home. We saw holes in their defense vs DePaul who have no business scoring 80 on Iowa State who are regarded as a top 6 defense in the NCAA. Iowa are 2-2 ATS away from home if you include the two Neutral site games played, and though Iowa State have covered spreads easily at home, but this matchup is going to be tighter and certainly thier hardest visiting opponent. Hawkeyes did not look bad vs Purdue, just out matched and undersized vs Zach Idey and the Boilermakers, but for this line to swell from 6.5 to 7.5 is the result of inflated numbers of Iowa State defensively and its a good bounceback spot for the Hawkeyes who have played heftier competition, and are live underdogs if they can win the 3pt battle and atleast contend in the rebounding category. There should be a decent road crowd turnout here too. Will be a close game regardless of winner, so take the points, don't lay em.
