14 points is too many points for me to not put money on Citadel to keep this game close vs College of Charleston. We already missed the best number as this game opened up at +14.5 for the road team who are 5-3 ATS, 2-2 on the road, currently on a 3 game winning streak, and are the worse defense between the two (Citadel only allow an average of 64 points per game). Citadel are a top 100 rebounding team, top 30 in rebounds allowed, 80th in the ncaa in defending the deep ball which COC shoot plenty of (29.9 3 point shots attempted per game. To me that's signals a huge advantage for Citadel who just needs to keep COC at bay from deep and they should easily keep this game close by scraping up boards, preventing second chance points defensively and getting extra possessions offensively. Only NC State has beaten Citadel by more than 10, and COC isn't near their caliber of team. Citadel are also 6-4 ATS in their last 10 head to head. It's also weird that Citadel hasn't played a game since December 5th, but COC played on the 10th.
