Akron have been scraping by these last few games. Barely beating teams not nearly on their level during this 4 game winning streak (3 of the last 4 straight wins were decided by 5 or less points). The Bonnie's on the other hand, have won 6 of the last seven, losing to only FAU (a 10-2 team and on a Neutral site) and are bearing teams by more than 10 in their last 5 wins. I'm surprised that this line is so close given the defensive acumen of the Bonnies (allowing only 64 points per game on average) who should be able to contain Ali Ali of Akron, limiting his upside of dropping 29 like he did in the narrow win vs Gardner-Webb. Bonnie's have only allowed more than 70 once in the 8 non neutral site games played during their 10 game outlook. I'm laying the points here with the better defense.
