I'm on the Braves on the RunLine @ home vs the Tigers for these reasons:
- Max Fried is on the mound for the Braves and he's been playing well this second, 6-3 with a 3.20 ERA and 1.06 WHIP. He's only allowed 3 runs in the last 3 starts at home, and the Tigers are not a bullpen to be afraid of.
- Reese Olsen is on the mound for the Tigers and he's been terrible. 1-8 this season, 3.68 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP and his road splits are even worse. A 3.97 ERA, and 0.76 strikeouts per inning isn't going to cut it vs the Bats of Atlanta. I expect them to get to Olson early and often to open this series.
- The Braves averaged 7 runs in their last 3 games which were also at home, vs the Ray's and they should continue to bat well this series.
