MLB - Marlins @ Phillies
(MLB) Miami vs. Philadelphia,
Point Spread: -1.50 | -121.00 Philadelphia (Home)
Result: Win
Point Spread: -1.50 | -121.00 Philadelphia (Home)
Result: Win
I'm on the Phillies Runline -1.5 vs the Marlins for these reasons:
- Cristopher Sanchez is on the mound for The Phillies, he's 5-3 on the season with a 2.67 ERA, 70 strikeouts in 84 innings pitched and a 1.28 WHIP. Marlins aren't a scary batting unit, 23rd in Batting Average, 20th in hits, 29th in runs. I expect Cristopher to get another win today and keep his team clear of runs in the innings pitched today at home on Philly. He's 4-1 at home.
- Kyle Tyler is making his debut start vs the Phillies today. He has only pitched 6 innings in his career in the MLB and should get a good look at premiere batting vs the Phillies in his first start. His last 4 innings pitched, he gave up 2 runs to the Mariners off 3 hits on June 23rd. Mariners aren't nearly as scary as Philadelphia and they should get to him early and often.
Official Play: Phillies Runline
Side Bet: Kyle Tyler over 2.5 Runs Allowed
Hail Mary: Under 8.5 runs
