MLB - Rays @ Royals
(MLB) Tampa Bay vs. Kansas City,
Total: 9.00 | -120.00 Under
Result: Win
Total: 9.00 | -120.00 Under
Result: Win
I'm on the Under 9 runs in this Rays @ Royals matchup for these reasons:
- We seen what happened last night in gane 1, where there was one run scored by the bottom of the 5th inning which is a testament to how bad these Bats are on both sides, especially when two pitchers of quality were on the mound (Littell and Singer). That's the same case tonight if not more so, with Pepiot and Wacha on the mound tonight. Hopefully there's no delay this game, however.
- Pepiot has been a killer for Tampa, averaging 1.16 strikeouts with a 1.04 WHIP per road game. KC doesn't have a scary rotation compared to the competition that Pepiot has faced this season, and a pitcher of his caliber is going to keep his innings safe.
- Michael Wacha, one of the best options for the Royals in a bounceback spot from losing 5-1 in a delayed late game last night, should have a good game tonight. He's not striking out Bats like Pepiot, but he's not allowing runs. 0.43 average runs earned vs Wacha in his 32 innings pitched in KC is not something to sneeze at, and honestly gives kc a chance in this game 2. 4 of the last 5 games pitched by Wacha have gone under the total.
Official Play: Under 9 Runs
Side Bet: Pepiot over 4.5 strikeouts
Hail Mary: Royals +1.5 Runline
