MLB - Mets @ Marlins
(MLB) NY Mets vs. Miami,
Money Line: -127.00 NY Mets (Away)
Result: Loss
Money Line: -127.00 NY Mets (Away)
Result: Loss
I'm on the Mets to beat the Marlins on the road for these reasons:
- Sean Manaea on the mound for the Mets and he's been very good in terms of not allowing runs. His last 3 starts he's only allowed 4 earned runs. He's 6-3 overall when starting and 3-0 away from home. Averaging over a strikeout per inning on the road and should continue his dominant road record here vs the Marlins who are not a good batting team.
- Marlins are starting Edward Cabrera who is 1-3 overall and has a 1.59 WHIP with a 8.26 ERA. I worry less about Cabrera hurting the teams chances of winning, but he is not the better pitcher in this matchup.
- Batting advantage heavily sides with The Mets. Marlins have a 6th worst batting average, 10th worst hit rate, and 2nd worst in runs scored. The Mets are very average categorically when talking batting Stats, but even average is more confident for you money than what the Marlins are. Lindor should give the young miami pitcher, problems.
Official Play: Mets Moneyline
Side Bet: Under 8.5 Runs
Hail Mary: Sean Manaea over 17.5 Outs
