I’m on the Pistons -3.5 at home vs the Atlanta Hawks for these reasons:

- Trae young is hobbled but will play tonight. The Hawks have injuries that are preventing them from playing the type of basketball they are known to play (High volume 3pt shooting), and without Clint Capela down low, Jalen Duren is going to feast on the rebounds as he did the night before against the Bulls at home.

- Last game for the pistons until the 5th, which will also be at home vs the cavaliers. This game they win, next game they will likely not, so a win here is necessary to their successful season so far, looking like an actual playoff hopeful.

- Atlanta are still defensively incapable of stopping anyone, being the 28th ranked defense and bottom tier in defending threes while also not having the firepower on the other side to compete in a shootout once their opponents get hot. The pistons are actually a top 15 3pt shooting team, their leader Cade Cunningham is a 3pt shooter at PG but will have no issues tonight with his height being much bigger than his defensive opponents that Atlanta throws at him.
