He has not been awful for the Pirates this year but recently he has been unraveling more as he has allowed at least 2 earned runs in each of his last 10 straight starts, allowing at least 3 earned runs in 7 of his last 9 starts. He is making his 1st start for the Padres here but he also has not faced an offense as strong as the Dodgers offense has been recently and he is going to struggle to keep them from scoring in this game. Both of these teams have also won 1 game each in this series with a lot of late runs in those games so not only are these starters going to give up runs against these hot offenses, but the bullpens have not been great for either side as both teams are going to fight right to the end of the game to try and win it. Between these two teams, there will be enough runs here to push this game over the total.
