UTSA is coming into this game with a very good team from last season and there is a lot of hype around them as this is their 1st year in a new conference, the AAC. They are going up against a Houston team that was not great last season and they also lost their starting QB to the NFL, but they are also playing their 1st year in a new conference as they are now in the Big 12 and they will be hungry to make a statement in this game against another Texas team. Houston did beat UTSA on the road last season and they are at home in this game now, playing with a chip on their shoulder as well as they are aware of the fact they are underdogs in this game. Dana Holgorsen is a very good coach that has done wonders with this team over the last few years and he has done a good job at recruiting new players for this year. Houston feels disrespected in this game and Holgorsen will have his team ready here at home for their 1st game of the season in a new conference. Houston will cover the spread in this game.
