Purdue is coming into this game off of a crushing home loss to start the season as they were playing well in the game and had the lead but ended up losing 39-35. Purdue played very well in that game at home but they were simply beat by a better Fresno State team with more talent on their side. Now Purdue is coming into this game on the road but they are the team with more talent on their side and they are going to be hungry to win this game after losing at home. They are going up against a Virginia Tech team that blew out a very bad Old Dominion team in their last game which was also at home. They are at home again and do have a good defense, but that offense is so inconsistent for Virginia Tech and they were not that great in their last game despite rolling ODU. Purdue is going to come into this game as the hungrier team after losing and they have the better team as well. VA Tech may have a good defense but they will not be able to stop the talent on this Purdue offense. Purdue is going to win this game straight up so take Purdue to cover the spread in this game.
