UNLV is coming into this game off of a 44-14 win against Bryant but their defense was awful in that game and so was their offense. They scored 44 points and were able to run the ball but they had no passing game at all and running the ball will be much harder on this Michigan defense. They are going up against a Michigan team that is coming off of a 30-3 win at home in their last game and they played a much better ECU team who only scored 3 points. This is a game where UNLV is not going to score at all on that good defense and Michigan will be hungry to blank them as they were close last week. The Michigan offense only scored 30 points in that game as well, their passing game was great but they struggled to run the ball as Corum did not even hit 100 yards rushing. Running the ball is the Michigan identity and with one of the best running backs in the entire country, running the ball is going to be an emphasis in this game as they try to establish it better. That is going to eat up clock in this game as Michigan will have some longer drives here. This is going to be a lower scoring game that stays under the total.
