The Phillies are coming into this game not playing great recently as they have lost 3 of their last 5 games and all of those games have been on the road where they have not been as good with just a 35-36 road record this season. Michael Wacha is starting for the Padres here and he is 11-2 with a 2.85 ERA this season. He has been great and consistent all season which is also something he quietly did last year. He has also been a stud at home as he has not allowed more than 2 earned runs in his last 9 straight starts at home and he will shut down this Phillies offense as the hot Padres offense takes care of the rest.
